He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Bane Wyatt and Maude Evans Wyatt; his wife Mary Helen Mitchell Wyatt; his son William Edward Wyatt, Jr.; his great grandchild Sadie Lou Paige Cassell; and his siblings, Patsy Branson, Susie Armstrong, Janie Gillespie, Peggy Wyatt, Joseph "Joe" Wyatt, Sr. and Richard Wyatt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Ann Wyatt of Patrick Springs and Amanda Wyatt Nester (Gary) of Martinsville; his grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Wyatt, William David Fain, Kelsey Leann Fain (Thomas Turner), Jessica Nicole Frazier (Nathan), Haley Michelle Nester and Kevin Wayne Nester; his great grandchildren, William, Bryson, Logan, Colton, Waylon, Lexie, Madalee, Mason, Carter and Harper; his siblings, Jim Wyatt, Jerry Wyatt (Donna), Larry Wyatt (Holly) and Ann Kendrick (Kenny); and his sister-in-law Martha Wyatt of Patrick Springs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (202 W Blue Ridge St, Stuart, VA 24171). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Patrick Memorial Gardens (20937 Jeb Stuart Hwy, Stuart, VA 24171).
