He was predeceased by: his father Vernon Luther Parker. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Lynn Parker; his children, Vernon Lee Parker, Jr. of Patrick Springs, VA, Traci Johnston (Brandon Holland) of Pinnacle, NC, Christopher Johnston of Danbury, NC and Jonathan Johnston of Bassett, VA; his stepchildren, Crystal Mitchell of Newport News, VA and Kyle Koedyker of Hopewell, VA; his grandchildren, Hailey, Serenity, Megan, Christian, Alyssa, Leiland, Rylan, Sophia, Bella and Emmanuel; and his sisters, Laura Munger of Hampton, VA, Sharon Parrott of Hampton, VA and Debbie Avsher of Gloucester, VA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
