He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Hobson Stone and Myrtle Sue Joyce Stone; his former wife Doris Jefferson Stone; his wife Nancy Keffer Stone; and his siblings, Mildred Rodgers, Marvin L. Stone, J. Randolph Stone and D. Wayne Stone.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Lynn Morley (Donald) and Terry E. Stone; and his siblings, Jean Maxey, Myra Barbour (Butch), Larry Stone and David Stone (Deborah). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
He wanted all donations made in his memory to go to the Pleasant View Baptist Church Elevator Fund.
