He is survived by: his wife Kathy Adkins Fain; his daughter Carolyn; his son-in-law Wayne McKinney of Trinity, NC; his son Timmy Sutphin of Ohio; his grandchildren, Heather Abshire (Billy), Samuel Kitchin, Dustin Ellis (Colleen), Zackery Kitchin and Caleb "Spud" Sutphin; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Abel, Jayse and Lennox; and his siblings-in-law, David Lambeth of Roanoke, Brenda Fain of Trinity, NC and Dolly Fain of St. Petersburg, FL.
