We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2024, at the age of 79, Larry Odell Burnette of Patrick Springs, Virginia, born in Floyd, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Burnette and Hava Emerline Burnette; his son Ricky Burnette; his siblings, Ronald Burnette, Donald Burnette and Mildred Goad; and his brother-in-law Gentry Reece.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Dian Graham Burnette; his sons, Michael Burnette (Christa) of Galax, VA and Stephen Burnette (Vanessa) of Hardy, VA; his grandchildren, Claire Burnette, Jacob Burnette and Caroline Burnette; his siblings, Charles W. Burnette (Hilda) of Floyd, VA and Loraine Reece of Christiansburg, VA; and his brother-in-law J. B. Goad of Floyd. He is also survived by his community, his friends, and especially his family.
