She is survived by: her husband Steve Hayes; her children, Rachel Hayes of Stuart, VA, Anna Hayes Smallwood (Wesley) of Louisa, VA, Sarah Hayes of Patrick Springs, Eric Pruitt of Concord, NC and Blake Pruitt of Concord, NC; her brothers, Harold Alligood of Washington, NC and Phillip Alligood of Elizabeth City, NC; and her grandchild Evelyn Hayes-Linton of Patrick Springs, VA. She is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
