She is survived by: her husband Ralph Barkley of Patrick Springs; her children, Shaine Eckrote of Patrick Springs, Ryan Pennington of Fieldale, Britni Newman of Chatham and Cortni Pennington of Stuart; her stepdaughter Madison Barkley of Patrick Springs; her siblings, Shonda Barkley of Patrick Springs, April Elvington of Stuart, Corrinna Meeks of Roanoke and Lawney Eckrote Jr. of Roanoke; and her grandchildren, Roman Newman, Jackson Davis, Bennelli Newman, Tatum Newman, Oliver Newman, Noah White and R. J. Pennington.
