He was predeceased by: his parents, George Goode Trent and Ivory Myrtle Shough Trent; his siblings, George Leonard Trent, Aaron Eugene Trent and Nancy Ruth Trent Greer; his nephews, Steve Greer, Ricky Trent and Stacy Trent; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Claybrook.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye Claybrook Trent; his children, Mark Trent (Kim) of Patrick Springs and Kim Conner (Michael) of Buffalo Ridge; his grandsons, Levi Trent and Rylan Trent; his great grandchild Cooper Trent; his brother Maynard "Hoss" Trent (Vernel) of Patrick Springs; and his siblings-in-law, Perry Greer of Patrick Springs, Johnny Claybrook of Richmond, Arlene Trent of Patrick Springs and Bonnie Claybrook of Horsepasture. He is also survived by his children and being "Papa" to his grandsons and great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Patrick Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church (260 Spring Rd, Patrick Springs, VA 24133). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
