With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alonza Lee Yates (Patrick Springs, Virginia), who passed away on April 22, 2018 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Hatcher Yates; his sister Betty Yates of Floyd, VA; and his children, Warren Lee Yates of Stuart, VA, Michael W. Yates of Tennessee and Deborah Y. Foley of Patrick Springs, VA. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
