It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan H. Pruiksma of Partlow, Virginia, who passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore Pruiksma; and her daughter Loretta Lynn Pruiksma. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Pruiksma, David Pruiksma, Darlene Fabrizi and Lou Fabrizi; her grandchildren, Kelly Canaday, Ted Pruiksma, Jennifer Aguon, Louis Fabrizi, Joseph Fabrizi and Zach Pruiksma; her great grandchildren, Dominic Pruiksma, Grace Pruiksma, Scarlet Pruiksma, Damien Pruiksma, Tori Pruiksma, Micah Fabrizi, Everett Fabrizi, Leo Fabrizi, Cheyanne Scott, Josey Canady, Johnny Aguon, Joel Aguon, Jase Aguon and Jackson Aguon; and her great great grandchildren, Daxtyn Scott and Creed Canady.

“I am so sorry to learn of Joan's passing. She and Ted were leaders of our Junior High class at St. Luke's Methodist Church in Washington, DC. This was back in the early 1960s. Both of them made a great impression on me as a young teenager. . . a positive impression. They showed me what a Christian life and Christian marriage could look like. I have admired Joan for many years, and looked up to her as a godly woman. My sincerest sympathy to all of the Pruiksma family.”
