It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elwood Hause Payne Jr. (Partlow, Virginia), who passed away on October 14, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood H. Payne, Sr. and Elizabeth Broaddus Payne. He is survived by: his daughter Melinda Payne Hammack (Chad); his sister Mary Bernice Sale (Bill); his granddaughters, Genevieve and Addison; his niece Shannon; his nephew Scott Sale (Perri); and his great-nieces, Katie and Peyton Sale.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Waller's Baptist Church.
