It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Mitchell Brown of Parksley, Virginia, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Anstine Brown, Jr.; her mother Annie Colonna Mitchell; her brothers, Steven F. Mitchell and Merrill Mitchell; and her grandson-in-law David R. Chew, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Karen Taylor (Greg) of Parksley, Bettie Smoot (Rodney) of Parksley and David Brown (Janie) of Mechanicsville, VA; her brother Warren J. Mitchell (Janice) of Pocomoke City, MD; her grandchildren, Becky Chew, Cassie Hall (Alan), Natasha Smoot and Steven Brown; her great grandchildren, Bradley, Jacob and David III; and also Dottie Smith.
