Marie Core Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Core (Parksley, Virginia), born in Seaford, Virginia, who passed away on April 20, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Shrieves "Eddie" Core; and her parents, Thomas Jackson Sparrow and Gladys Robinson Sparrow. She is survived by: her children, Wayne Core (Kathy) of Bloxom, VA, Cindy Campbell (Randy) of Reva, VA and Robin Hall (Braden) of Locustville, VA; her grandchildren, Nicole Chambers (Jordan), Bill Applegate, Ellen Applegate, R. J. Campbell (Brittany), Bryan Campbell (Samantha), Katie Darnell (Chris) and Carrianne Prouty (David); her great grandchildren, Madeline Chambers, Brayden, Henry Darnell, Dominick, Ian and Alexis Prouty; her cousin Dan Bloxom; and her close friends, Anita, Corey Harte and Leigh Young. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Once restrictions relating to COVID-19 are lifted, a public memorial service will be scheduled and announced.
