She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Brooks Mears and Margaret Smullin Mears Bonniwell; her siblings, Brooks Mears, Jr. and Mary F. Allen; her sister-in-law Bonnie Mears; and her mother-in-law Bonnie Huffman Turner.
She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dickie" Turner; her daughter Michele M. Pruitt (Joe Van) of Indiana; her granddaughter Amanda C. Sample (Donte) of Parksley; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Briana, Jazmin and Kaitlyn Zavala; her father-in-law Richard C. Turner of Parksley; her stepson Richard "Richie" Turner (Cheryl) of Parksley; her grandsons, Conway and Drake Turner; her nephews, Jim Mears (Cindy) and David Allen; and her niece Leslie Allen Parks (Matthew).
