He was predeceased by: his parents, William Emory Peters and Dorothy Gray Peters; and his brother William L. Peters. He is survived by: his children, Andrea Peters Lieb of Norfolk, VA and Adam Peters (Amanda) of Pennsylvania; his brothers, John K. Peters (Betty) of Tennessee and Greg Peters; his grandchildren, Zachary Gillespie and Kelsea Lieb; his great grandchild Olivia Weaver; his sister-in-law Mary Lou Peters; and his friend Agnes "Angie" Northam. He is also survived by three nieces, two nephews, and other extended family.
