It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Birch Jr. (Parksley, Virginia), born in Nassawadox, Virginia, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, John William "Bill" Birch, Sr. and Mary Alice Birch of Atlantic, VA; his wife Nancy Ann Engelhart Birch of Snow Hill; his children, Brendan H. Birch of Snow Hill, Nicole Birch of Philadelphia, PA and Dakota W. Birch of Chincoteague; and his sister Joy S. Birch of Stockton, MD. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A wake was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home (25046 Parksley Rd, Parksley, VA 23417). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (25236 Coastal Blvd, Onley, VA 23418). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Fairview Lawn Cemetery (42 Hill St, Onancock, VA 23417).
