She is survived by: her husband Woodrow "Woody" Thornes, Sr.; her children, Woodrow Thornes, Jr. (Jessica) of Guilford, Melody Thornes Wright (Marty) of Roanoke, VA and Tabitha Thornes Sellers (Wyatt) of Guilford; her siblings, Tammie Noyes (Ray), Danny Ray Taylor (Elsie) and David Pruitt (Sherry); her grandchildren, Levi Thornes, Avery Payne and Eva Wright; her aunt Barbara Reynolds; her stepmother Betty Taylor; and her close friends, JoLynn Hart and Violet Nedab.
