He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Frederick Gardner (Elizabeth "Betty" Gardner) and Christian. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Edward Frederick "Fred" Gardner III (Jen) of Gaithersburg, MD and Makenzie Elliott Gardner of Onley; his sister Kathleen "Kathy" Evans of Parksley, VA; and his nephews, Michael Evans (Kristen) and Nathan Evans.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home (25046 Parksley Rd, Parksley, VA 23417).
