It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fred Pruitt (Parksley, Virginia), born in Tangier, Virginia, who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Docia Smarr, Cecil Crockett, Mary Frances, Orville Pruitt, Eugene Pruitt, Jack Pruitt and Jim Pruitt.
He is survived by: his wife Eugenia Marie Pruitt; his children, David Charles Pruitt (Vonda) of Crisfield, MD, Charlene Marie Petroski of Atlantic, VA and Thomas "Tommy" Pruitt of Parksley, VA; his grandchildren, Bethany Pruitt, Thomas Pruitt, Eugenia and Hayley Petroski; and his sisters-in-law, Reta Pruitt of Tangier and Darlene Pruitt of Crisfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
