He is survived by: his wife Margarita Merscham; his children, Cassandra Savannah (Jess) of Nassawadox and Alberto Merscham (Nitaya) of Riverton, Utah; his sister Cheryl Gartin of Wichita, KS; and his grandsons, Elijah Savannah and Silas Savannah.
