He was predeceased by: his father Willard N. Nottingham; his grandparents, Charles T., Ruth Watts Huckstep, Southey T. and Margaret Nottingham; and his stepsister Michele Pickens.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Huckstep Cross; his stepsisters, Robin Cross Spruill of Chesapeake, VA, Kim Davis of Lexington, NC and Vicki Dray of Virginia Beach; and his cousins, Wayne, Stanley Nottingham, Ray and Jay Hopper. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
