She was predeceased by: her parents, Brooks "Frog" Taylor and Jean T. Taylor; and her brother Chucky Taylor. She is survived by: her daughter Tammie Sterner; her stepchildren, Brandy Childress (Shane) and Bill Custis; her brother David Taylor, Sr.; her grandchildren, Nikki Murawski (Jared) and Casey Johnson (Dalton); and her nephew David Taylor, Jr.. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins.
