He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Darlene Barnes; his parents, Stephen Randall Barnes and Doris Elizabeth Kellam Barnes; and his siblings, Betty Judd, John and Steve Barnes.
He is survived by: his children, Careen Watson (Larry) of Pocomoke City, MD and Alan Barnes (Beth) of Salisbury, MD; his siblings, Mildred Barnes of Chesterfield, VA, Richard Barnes (Donna Rae) of Gargatha, VA, Dwight Barnes and Al's; his caregiver April of Parksley; his brother-in-law Bobby Judd of Pocomoke City; and his grandson Zachary Barnes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
