He was predeceased by: his great-nephew Lucas Brown of Dallas, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Adams Smith; his children, Randall W. Smith, Tyler Smith (Morgan) of Madisonville, Nathan Smith and Paige Smith; his granddaughter Madison of Madisonville; his parents, Paul Smith and Virginia Smith of North Dinwiddie; his siblings, Brian Smith (Sharon) of Appomattox, VA, Carl Smith (Gail) of Sutherland, VA, Penny Brown of Sutherland and Vickie Rizzo (Chris) of North Dinwiddie; his mother-in-law Louise Adams of Madisonville; his sister-in-law Carol Williams of Madisonville; and his nieces and nephews, Dr. Tim Brown (Kelly) of Dallas Texas, Andrew Brown of Lynchburg, Benjamin Smith of Sutherland, Shana Fields (Brian) of Appomattox, April Sayre (Scott) of Pittsville, Kaitlin Gambrell (Martin Madali) of North Dinwiddie, Laural Williams of Madisonville, Samantha Smith and Sara Smith of Sutherland. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, great nephews and great nieces.
