He is survived by: his spouse Gail Bryant Hamlett; his children, Lawrence Allen "Lonny" Hamlett, Jr. (Mary) of Pamplin, Marvin Hamlett (Dana) of Pamplin, Sheila Logan (James "Duke") of Hardy and Julie Poole (Kenny) of Appomattox; his siblings, Kenneth Hamlett (Katie) of Pamplin, Allen Hamlett Jr. (Debbie) of Appomattox, Steve Hamlett (Becky) of Spout Spring, Charlotte H. Hamlett (Gene) of Appomattox, Brenda H. Wooten (Buck) of Spout Spring, Denise H. Rogers of Concord, Delores H. DeMuth (Bobby) of Pamplin and Donna H. Lawson (Rodney) of Concord; his grandchildren, Cyndal, Caleb, Jenna, Johnny, Sierra, Andrea, Kaitlyn, Lillian, Samuel, Bruce, Tiffany (Scott), Easton and Griffin; and his sister-in-law Patty Miller (Jeff) of Pamplin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
