He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Walter Croushorn and Florence Mae Baker Croushorn; and his son Joseph Allen Croushorn. He is survived by: his wife Linda Louise Yancey Croushorn; his children, James William Croushorn, Jr. (Sharon M.) of Culpeper, Steven Michael Croushorn (Mauda) of Warrenton and Jennifer Louise Withrow (Scott Anthony) of King George; his grandchildren, Sara Withrow, Will Croushorn, Ben Croushorn, Kenneth Withrow, Luke Croushorn, Hannah Beebe, Katherine Croushorn and Karen Croushorn; his great grandchildren, Hayley Withrow, Alexander Dabo and Reecy Mae Croushorn; and his siblings, Betty Mayhugh, Edward "Buddy" Croushorn, Charlotte "Tootie" Jones and Charlie Croushorn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church (709 Buffalo St, Farmville, VA 23901).
