With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen McCoy McFadden Jones of Pamplin, Virginia, born in Appomattox, Virginia, who passed away on April 8, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Daniel McFadden and Rachel Virginia O'Brien McFadden; and her brothers, Danny, Wayne and Bobby McFadden.
She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Lynn Jones; her children, Robert McCoy (Renae), Teresa Leeper (Brian) and Jerry Daniel Jones of Pamplin; her grandchildren, Billy Etherton (Cheryl) of Farmville, Derek Etherton of Farmville, Jennifer Etherton (Nick) of Texas, Cody Etherton (Bre) of Texas, Rachel Narduzzo (Nick) of Texas, Morgan Leeper of Texas, Brenden McCoy (Brittany), Zane McCoy (Hailey Joseph) and Logan McCoy (Trinity); and her sister-in-law Dorothy McFadden of Pamplin. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
