She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenford William Genthner, Sr. and Anna Marie Genthner (Knor); her husband Richard Raymond Haas; and her brother Glenford W. Genthner, Jr.. She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Karen Marie Gerhart (Michael) of Ulster Park and Erika Jean Haas (Roger Timm) of Wilmington, Massachusetts; her stepgrandchildren, Kristie Gerhart (Adrian Koshy), Adam Gerhart, Scott Gerhart (Vanessa Gerhart), Carolyn and Audrey Haas-Timm; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Abigail Gerhart, Carter and Nova Koshy; and her brother Richard A. Genthner of Freehold, NJ. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thacker Brothers Lake Monticello Funeral Home (138 Heritage Dr, Palmyra, VA 22963). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace and Glory Lutheran Church (683 Thomas Jefferson Pkwy, Palmyra, VA 22963). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Culpeper National Cemetery.
