It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valorie Denise Lockehart in Painter, Virginia, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Booze, and Grace Booze, Sr.; her uncle Carlton Kellam; her nephew Tramaine Booze; her sister-in-law Sharon Bullock; her aunts, Irma Lowe and Naomi Morris; and her cousin Artie Kellam.
She is survived by: her husband Edward L. Lockehart, Jr. of Zebulon, NC; her children, Keyonte'J. Custis of Walker, LA, Ronnetra Owens (Darius, Sr.) of Charlotte, NC, Lynnesa (Carlton) of Newberry, SC and Javonta Lykes of San Francisco, CA; her grandchildren, Darius Owens, Jr., Dexter Brandon, Jr., Morgan Owens, Samuel Ricks, Quincey Lykes, Elizabeth Ricks, Frankie Lykes and Naomi Ricks; her siblings, Debra Lyons (Norman, II), Yolanda Booze, Glenyss Nock (Kenneth), Glenda Moore (Bobby) and Arthur Booze, Jr. (Lavonda); and her siblings-in-law, Tewana Jones, Beverly Johnson (Travis) and Terry Lockehart. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
