She was predeceased by: her father Rev. Morris H. Baines; her husband Lee W. Stevens; her son Lee W. Stevens, Jr.; and her sisters, Martha E. Smith and Ruth A. Waters.
She is survived by: her children, Willie Stevens of Painter, VA, Jacqueline Freeman (Dexter) of Stephens City, VA and Joyce Pierce (Duane) of Bridgeville, DE; her stepdaughter Leola Smith (Mike) of Painter, VA; her adoptive daughters, Karen Barrett of Painter, VA and Joyce Colona of Painter, VA; her grandchildren, Devynn, Christopher, Cameron, Kayla and Dexter, Jr.; her sister Jeanette Tinsley (Ronald Sr.) of Capital Heights, MD; and her close friends, Helen Bundick and Maggie Helen Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
