He was predeceased by: his parents, John Andrew Augustson, Jr. and Freeda Strickler Augustson. He is survived by: his wife Joan L. Fecher; his daughter Julie Augustson of North Carolina; and his siblings, Kitty Reid (Gary) of Currituck, NC and Emil Augustson (Marianne) of Virginia Beach.
