She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Bud Smith Jr. and Jo Harley Smith; her brother Jonathan Winthrop Smith; her husband Mark Lewis Hopkins; and her daughter Sarah Gardner Hopkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Matthew Lewis Hopkins (Wendy Michelle Hopkins) of Elizabeth City, NC and Adam Smith Hopkins (Deanna Joy Hopkins) of Bloxom, VA; and her grandchildren, Madalynn Marie Hopkins, Jacob Lewis Hopkins and Sadie Joy Hopkins.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Lawn Cemetery (42 Hill St, Onancock, VA 23417).
