He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Roosevelt Riggin and Laura Mae Riggin; his siblings, Mary Howard (Robert Miller "Bob"), Vincent and Wayne Riggin; his nephews, Robert M. "Rob" Howard, Jr. and Gregory T. "Greg" Howard, Sr.; his great-nephew Norval William "Trey" LeCates III; and also Gage Barrett.
He is survived by: his brother Edward "Eddie" Riggin; his caregiver Jamie LeCates-Brown; and also, Mia and Desiree. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
