He was predeceased by: his parents, William Talmage Gladden and Doris Chandler Gladden; his brother William T. Gladden, Jr.; and his daughter-in-law Teresa East Gladden. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Gladden Henderson (John Mapp) of Painter and Robert Clark Gladden of Melfa, VA; his grandchildren, Jason Hopkins, Douglas Hopkins (Mary, Michelle Killmon), Jamie and Christina Ward; and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Kaylie, Cameron Hopkins, Madison, Kyler Killmon, Jackson and Kinley Ward.
