He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smith and Nora Emswiller; his children, Thomas Emswiller and Chanda Richmond; his siblings, Bud Emswiller and Gale Foley; and his grandson Harvey Woodward.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Emswiller; his children, Laura Woodward (Bugs) and James Walters; his grandchildren, Keyana Cahill (Ethan), Amber Woodward, Cody Walters, Ryan Walters and Emily Walters; and his great grandchildren, Wayland Cahill, Isla Cahill, Sophia Cahill, Zhaivonte Lewis, Zaijaun Lewis and Levi Walters.
