It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Lafayette Woolfolk of Orange, Virginia, born in Spotsylvania, Virginia, who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Henry Woolfolk and Ella Elizabeth Woolfolk (Graves); and his brothers, John Harris Woolfolk and Carl Henry Woolfolk. He is survived by: his wife Joan Elizabeth Woolfolk (Parke); his children, Thomas M. Woolfolk (Flo) of Gordonsville, William "Bill" Woolfolk (Deborah) of Charlottesville, Mary Beth Woolfolk (Jim Thomas) of Richmond and Jerome "Jerry" Woolfolk of Orange; his grandchildren, Betsy Davis (Ben), Thomas S. Woolfolk (Taegiku), Jenna Harris (Brandon), Katelyn Woolfolk, Eoghain Thomas and Julia Thomas; and his sister Elizabeth Holley-Goodwin. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, numerous other nephews, nieces, family members and friends.
