She was predeceased by: her parents, Sallie Breeden Brown and Richard Phillip 'Doc Brown; her siblings, Edna Roudabush, Peggy Shifflett, Charles Brown and Howard Brown; her husband Lacy O. Dodson Jr.; and her son Phillip O. 'Willy Dodson.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Stanley of Wolftown, VA; her children, Neil Dodson (Charlotte) of Orange, VA, Wanda Cooper (Billy) of Orange, VA, Debby Bell of Orange, VA, Eileen Erb of Appomattox, VA, Judy Dodson of Thorn Hill, TN and Hope Jenkins (Clay) of Orange; and her grandchildren, Timmy Hudson (Karen), Marc Bell, Cyndi Hartman, Anthony Bell (April), Craig Erb (Barbara), William Erb (Diane), Richard Erb (Heidi), Michael Erb, Jason Dodson (Becky), Billy Dodson, Crystal Dodson, Robert Dodson (Cassy), Ben Palmer (Logan), Neil Dodson Jr. (Tammy), Matthew Dodson, Joseph Dodson (Trista), Rachel Dodson Means, Bethany Dodson Thornton (James), Hannah Dodson, Abigail Dodson, James C. Jenkins Jr. and Allen Dodson Tolbert. She is also survived by 40 great grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren, 9 great, great grandchildren, 2 great, great step-grandchildren, and there is another great, great grandchild.
