Norman Raymond Mehling Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norman Raymond Mehling of Orange, Virginia, born in Saint Meinrad, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2024 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Mehling and Alice Maffenbeier Mehling; his wife Judy Willingham Mehling; and his brothers, Stanley Mehling and Bernie Jo Mehling.
He is survived by: his children, Anne Corbin (Eddie), Lorraine Highlander (Craig), Tammy Blankenbaker (Earl) and Clint Mehling (Melanie); his grandchildren, Vanessa Blankenbaker, Liza Wolfe, Alicia Foster, Scarlett Medina, Veronica Blankenbaker, Carmen Mehling, Olivia Mehling and Rowan Mehling; and his siblings, Ann Hunt, Jim Mehling, Margie Steckler, Ruthie Fritz and Terry Auffart. He is also survived by nine great-granchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rhoadesville Baptist Church (26042 Lafayette Dr, Rhoadesville, VA 22542). A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hunt's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery (7500 Newport Hwy, Greeneville, TN 37743).
