He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Viola Johnson Bolden (Barbara Lee Bolden); his children, Norman Bolden Jr. of Orange, Patsy Bolden of Orange, Wanda Bolden of Orange, Cornelia Bolden Braxton of Orange, Karen Bolden of Orange and Casandra Rouse of Fredericksburg; and his brother Richard Bolden Sr. of Orange. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
