With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Gipson Harlow (Orange, Virginia), born in Madison Run, Virginia, who passed away on October 15, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert Gipson and Mabel Hicks Gipson; her husband James D. Harlow; her daughters, Donna Elaine Chewning and Judy Carol Moubray; and her siblings, Frank, Walter, James, Edward, Thomas, Clifton Gipson, Thelma McClendon and Nellie Hall.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Ellen Thurman of Orange, Ann H. Riordan (Bruce) of Orange, Brenda Gayle Thacker of Mineral, Janet Faye Talley (Lindsay Noel) of Louisa and Mabel Harlow Twyman (Edwin) of Madison; her son-in-law Warren Chewning of Orange; and her sister Janice Lutz of Orange. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
