She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Henry Casar and Susie Agusta Burdick Casar; her son Gerald Morgan "Jerry" Bowman; her brothers, Leon Verner and Leslie Jay Casar; and her granddaughter Dawn Renee Taylor.

She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Bowman Ellis (Charles) of Orange and Beverly Bowman Thomas (David) of Orange; her grandchildren, Adrienne Nicole Bowman, Lisa Marie Tovar and Dustin Aaron Thomas; and her great grandchildren, Bradley, Thomas Taylor, Kaelyn Hill, MaKena, Jorge, Sophia and Leo Tovar.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Graham Cemetery (14191 Constitution Hwy, Orange, VA 22960).
