He is survived by: his mother Jean Harper Gibson of Orange Virginia; his sister Renee B Hardy; his uncle Steve Allen Gibson of Orange Virginia; and his aunts, Nancy Snow (Wayne), Alice Heinburg of Charlottesville Virginia and Ann Jenkins of Lynchburg Virginia.
