He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jesse Raymond Davis Sr. and Bettie Hester Highlander Davis; his wife Hazel Delores Davis of Orange; and his children, Sherry Davis Boldridge (John) of Castleton, Sandra Davis McWilliams (John) of Gordonsville, Jackie Davis Harber (Tom) of Barboursville, Duane Eddy Ryder (Susan) of Louisa and Glenn Franklin Ryder (April) of Orange. He was also cherished by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
