She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Sidney and Mattie Eleanor Matthews Pugh; her husband Archie Leo Matthews; her sons, Charles Austin Matthews of Washington, Alan Matthews (Susan) of Chester Va and James Gormley (Kathleen Drennan) of Arlington Va; her grandchildren, Justin Gormley (Ashley) of Arlington, Colin Gormley of Spokane Washington, Russell Matthews (Christine) and Chad Matthews (Megan) of Mechanicsville Va; and her great grandchildren, Grayson Lee Matthews and Poppy Jane Gormley.
