Janice left this world on July 6, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Robert and Mabel Lucille Hicks Gipson; her husband Reginald Edward "Bubba" Lutz; and her son Keith Lutz. She is survived by : her children, Teresa Lutz of Orange, Ramona Wood (Steve) of Louisa, Yvonne Page (Michael) of Orange and Neal Lutz (Rhonda) of Orange; her grandchildren, Chris Ward, Thayne Michael Barber, Amanda Guida, Ashley Barber, Kyle Lutz, Adam Lutz, Courtney Lutz Hale, Regina Lutz, Angela Scott, Autumn Van Hooven, Kinsey Plum and Ethan Page; her sisters-in-law, Maggie Lloyd and Thelma Lutz; and her close friend Caroline Wiltshire. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Zion Baptist Church (15116 Tomahawk Creek Rd, Orange, VA 22960). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
