With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freda Lorice Tillett (Orange, Virginia), who passed away on January 25, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Tillett; her parents, Opal Honaker Proffitt and Edward Proffitt; and her siblings, Lonnie, Billy Proffitt, Mona Proffitt and Mary Graves.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Hashiguchi (Dean) and John Barnard of Lynchburg, VA; her grandchildren, Jeremy Hashiguchi (Laura), Emily and Grace Hashiguchi; her siblings, Edward Proffitt, Jr., Wesley Hart, Dora Estes (Dale) and Margaret Simpson; and her close friend Barbara Cook of Jessup. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
