With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Hill Scott (Orange, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Evelyn Hill departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Evelyn Hill. Though Evelyn Hill may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rowland F. Hill, Jr. and Josephine W. Hill; her husband Frank G.; her daughter Josephine; and her brother Rowland F. Hill, III.
She is survived by: her son Jim; her daughter-in-law Beth; and her grandsons, Garrett and Joe. She is also survived by four nephews and a niece.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Orange Presbyterian Church or Virginia Headwaters Council BSA.
