It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Woolfolk Holley-Goodwin of Orange, Virginia, who passed away on February 9, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Henry Woolfolk and Ella Graves Woolfolk; her brothers, John Harris Woolfolk, Carl Henry Woolfolk and Thomas Lafayette Woolfolk; her husbands, A. "Pike" Holley and William Teel "Billy" Goodwin; her stepchildren, Sally Jane Goodwin and Stephen Teel Goodwin; her daughter-in-law Lisa Walston Holley; and her pony Trixie.
She is survived by: her children, Melvin Allen "Mel" Holley, Jr. (Jane Harcum), James Phillip "Phil" Holley (Jacqueline) and Louise Holley Hyde (Christopher); her daughter-in-law Linda Snapp Goodwin; and her grandchildren, Megan Amanda Holley, Georgia Grace Holley, Maggie Hyde Good (Andrew), Rebecca, Brett Christopher Morrow (Poca) and Spencer Teel Goodwin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel (250 W Main St, Orange, VA 22960).
