She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hays Barker and Daisy King Barker; her husband Robert Glenn Ogburn, Sr.; and her siblings, Thomas Hays Barker, Francis King Barker and Evelyn Barker Hawkins.
She is survived by: her children, R. Glenn Ogburn, Jr., Thomas Lanier Ogburn (Carol) of Eden and Peyton Ogburn Cherry (James) of Eden; her grandchildren, Robert Glenn Ogburn, III (Jennifer), Lanie Ogburn Little (Kent), Kevin Kerr Ogburn (Charity), James Ashley Cherry (Melissa) and Brittain King Cherry (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Hays Ogburn Cherry and Caroline Elizabeth Ogburn.
The family suggests memorials be made to First Baptist Church, 533 Greenwood Street, Eden, NC 27288.
