He is survived by: his wife Gladys Simmons Altman of Orange; his sons, Michael Altman and Robert Altman; and his siblings, Carroll "Ted" Altman of Orange, Alfred "Zip" Altman (Shirley) of Spotsylvania, Roy Altman (Virginia) of Spotsylvania, Randolph "Ranny" Altman (Debbie) of Fredericksburg, Phillip Ward Altman (Joann) of Spotsylvania, Walter "Reese" Altman (Patricia) of Louisa, Doris Kube of Ga and Kay Gentry (Walter) of Spotsylvania. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
